Do you enjoy solving problems, analyzing data, and helping drive business decisions? We're looking for a Market Pricing Analyst to join our team and play a key role in developing competitive pricing strategies that support growth, profitability, and customer success.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Sales, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to evaluate pricing opportunities, prepare customer quotes, analyze market trends, and help shape pricing decisions that impact business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level, detail-oriented professional interested in business analytics, pricing strategy, and commercial operations.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and create customer quotes and bids while balancing customer needs, competitiveness, revenue, and margin goals.
- Respond to pricing requests and determine pricing for products within established guidelines.
- Monitor customer purchasing trends and implement pricing adjustments that support market-responsive strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and other business partners to develop pricing solutions for new and existing customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, grow market share, and deliver value to customers.
- Support company pricing initiatives and help track pricing performance against business objectives.
- Maintain customer-specific pricing programs, discounts, and related system data.
- Assist with product standardization efforts, cross-reference management, and customer labeling requests.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Prior experience in pricing, business analytics, finance, sales support, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Hybrid / Remote schedule with expectation of 2 days/week in-office
