The Revenue Specialist will support the General Managers (GM) in all financial aspects within the site. The right candidate will have a 5S mindset.
How you create impact
- Liaison with local GM to ensure accurate and timely customer billing.
- Clearly understand customer contracts, billing opportunities and facility/customer budgets.
- Preparation of financial reports for local management with full P&L understanding
- Preparation of weekly projection reports
- Assist with forecasting and re-forecasting
- Auditing and processing of incoming vendor invoices via the internal accounting system.
- Maintain Purchase Order Process to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and processes.
- Independently process month end procedures to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition and result presentation, while adequately managing any balance sheet exposures.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines in all financial matters such as credit control, purchasing, billing and disbursement.
- Provide variance analysis Actual vs. Forecast
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent with management accounting skills.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in logistics, distribution or warehouse environment of advantage.
- In depth understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Ability to relay financial information to non financial personnel
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment and to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the business;
- Very strong MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point)-Navigate Pivot tables, advanced excel formulas, etc.
