Position Description:
The University of Louisville Contract Administration and Procurement Services Office is inviting applicants to apply for the Procurement Specialist II position. This position is a hybrid remote setting and relocation is not provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Composing and managing bids, composing and managing supplier procurement contracts, conducting supplier reviews including spend analysis and supplier compliance to contractual terms and conditions, and audits as necessary.
- Review sole source purchases and memorandums of agreement.
- Develop contractor base for solicitations.
- Identify departmental and University need for commodity contractual requirement.
- Serve as the department liaison between Procurement Services and outside entities.
- Help on special projects.
- Review existing state statutes and proposed revisions and advise of potential effects on existing operations.
- Review/edit requisitions, purchase orders and approve all transactions for assigned commodities in Workday.
- Assist in software and e-procurement changes or upgrades.
- Represent the department/university conducting meetings in a professional, honest and ethical manner.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$103,067.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$68,711.00
Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
