Subcontracts Administrator

This hybrid, on-site position is located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Procurement.
How You Will Do It
- Review, negotiate, and draft complex commercial and government contracts with domestic and international subcontractors.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms to mitigate risk and ensure strict compliance with customer contracts, subcontracts, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on Astronautics’ and subcontractors’ performance against contractual obligations.
- Identify and communicate business issues related to contractual requirements.
- Administer the execution of contracts and purchase orders with customers and subcontractors.
- Apply legal acumen with strategic oversight to support sound business decisions.
- Establish and maintain robust customer and subcontractor agreements.
- Support the preparation of business proposals, including certifications, representations, and terms and conditions.
- Provide cross-functional support across departments.
- Utilize and manage subcontract records within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and/or government contract terms and conditions; or relevant internship and academic experience in this area.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of contract law, procurement procedures and subcontractor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong overall computer skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Familiarity with export regulations, and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Familiarity with an AS9100/ISO9001 and FAA environments, and ERP systems.
- National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certification.
