Job Summary

The Senior Contracts Analyst is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating master trading agreements and related documentation governing physical and financial energy commodity transactions. This role ensures agreements align with internal credit, legal, treasury, and operational policies while minimizing contractual, financial, and compliance risks. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Settlements

Required Qualifications & Experien

• ceProven experience drafting and negotiating energy trading agreements and related contractual documentatio
• n.Hands-on experience with standard industry agreements such as NAESB (Gas/NGL), EEI, or similar energy trading framework
• s.Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations in energy commodity trading and marketin
• g.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex contractual clauses and resolve issues while balancing commercial flexibility and risk protectio
• n.Experience with both financially settled and physically settled commodity transactions and/or environmental credit
• s.Working knowledge of energy, commodities, derivatives markets, and traded instrument
