Program Support Specialist

Candidate will bring a strong understanding of program controls, general understanding of government contracting, and the ability to develop financial models and reports based on corporate guidance and program requirements
Tasking Will Include
- Review incurred costs and forecast future expenditures using labor productivity, material price forecasts, subcontract agreements, and other relevant data to provide timely financial updates to program leadership
- Develop project budgets, baselines, and funding – while considering schedules and deliverables
- Develop various monthly reports to include the Contract Funds Status Report, Monthly Status Report, and Funds and Man Hour Expenditure Report
- Track Contract and Subcontract Mods and update spreadsheets accordingly
- Support pricing and proposal activities
- Work closely with Program Operations staff and Corporate Financial staff to collect and track consistent data.
- Prepare, edit, and maintain a variety of documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence. Ensure all documents are accurate and formatted correctly
- Keep records of deliverables, auditable transactions, and trainings relating to program operations
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business (or relevant discipline) and at least 1 year of experience in program controls or related role supporting a federal contractor (additional experience may substitute for degree)
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office
- Preferred candidate will have a strong analytical ability, including using scripting tools to develop relevant financial reports
- Experience with Deltek is a plus
- Some travel will be required (up to 10%)
