Strategy & Development Associate

1.Strategy & Market Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior in FMCG/Retail/Consumer/ Technology: ecommerce, fintech, markets.
• Deliver benchmarking and insight reports to support S&D leaders in strategy development.

2.Business & Corporate Finance Analysis

• Support business case development, financial modeling, and ROI evaluation for strategic projects and new initiatives.
• Perform valuation, due diligence, and financial analysis to support corporate finance activities.
• Prepare investment decks, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis for senior management.

3. Deal Execution Support

• Assist S&D leaders in deal execution including M&A, partnerships, and capex projects.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and external advisors on transaction-related data and documents.
• Track deal pipeline and provide progress updates to S&D Head and BOM.

4. Project Support & Execution

• Develop project trackers and dashboards, ensuring timely follow-up of action items.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to collect and validate data.

5. KPI Monitoring & Strategic Reporting

• Define and track KPIs for strategic initiatives and corporate projects.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for S&D Head and CEO.
• Highlight risks, gaps, and propose preliminary corrective actions.
• Work closely with BOM, Finance, Legal, sub companies to align strategy with execution.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis or presentations for senior executives and investors.

6. Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-4 years in strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, Private Equity or business analysis, with proven experience in deal execution (M&A, partnerships, capital raising) and exposure to FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, Live Stocks, Technology Businesses.
• Corporate Finance Skills: Strong in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction support.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI/Tableau a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Finance, or related; MBA is a plus.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, detail-oriented, strong ownership, thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
