Job Description: Reimbursement Analyst: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
The Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for reviewing variance credits and securing credits after payments by working closely with medical insurance companies. This role examines contracts and identifies discrepancies between contract terms and paid claims. Investigates why insurance companies have overpaid claims and ensures accurate reimbursement through detailed contract analysis.
Experience
Qualifications
2+ years medical contracts and claims appeals.
Education
High School or equivalent.
Requirements
- Experience in hospital acute care payer contracts.
- Articulate with medical insurance terminology and explanation of benefits.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and 10-key data entry skills.
