In this role, you'll support the day-to-day cost accounting function, including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting and month-end close. Working closely with both the finance and manufacturing teams, you'll help ensure accurate financial reporting while building your knowledge and experience within a stable manufacturing business.

The Role

• Perform cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory analysis, variance reporting and month-end close.
• Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to analyse costs and provide financial insight.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
• Identify cost variances and opportunities to improve operational performance.

The Person

• Previous Cost Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory and manufacturing finance.
• ERP system experience with strong Excel skills.
• Looking to develop their career and take on greater responsibility within a growing manufacturing business.
