Position Summary
The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by creating demand and securing product specifications through architects, interior designers, consultants, electrical engineers, electrical contractors, and installers . The role ensures that specified projects are converted into sales through distribution partners and project execution channels.
The position acts as the link between influencers (designers/consultants), purchasing decision-makers, distributors, and installation partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Demand Creation
- Develop new business opportunities within the assigned market segment.
- Generate product demand through specification, recommendation, and project influence activities.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers involved in project design, procurement, and execution.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Specification Management
- Secure product approvals and specifications with architects, interior designers, consultants, MEP engineers, and electrical designers.
- Ensure company products are included in project specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Provide technical and commercial support during project design stages.
- Manage the specification pipeline and track projects from concept through completion.
- Channel & Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
- Design firms
- Architectural offices
- Electrical consultants
- Electrical contractors
- Electricians and installers
- Distributors and wholesalers
- Support channel partners in converting project opportunities into orders.
- Conduct joint customer visits with distributors and contractors where required.
- Project Sales Conversion
- Monitor project progress from specification to procurement.
- Influence purchasing decisions to protect specifications from competitor substitution.
- Coordinate with distributors and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and project-based pricing within company guidelines.
- Technical Consulting & Training
- Deliver product presentations and technical workshops to designers, consultants, contractors, and electricians.
- Conduct CPD sessions and product training programs.
- Provide technical advice and application support to customers during project planning and implementation.
- Market Intelligence
- Identify market trends, new projects, and competitor activities.
- Gather customer insights and feedback regarding product performance and market needs.
- Recommend strategies to increase market share and specification wins.
Your Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Business , Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2 + years of B2B sales experience in electrical, lighting, building technologies, construction
- Proven experience in project sales and specification selling.
- Strong network within architectural, design, consulting, and electrical contractor communities.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in the team.
- Readiness for business trips ( 50 % of working time) ; Driving license category B.
