Standard Job Description

You will be the Contracts Associate Manager - Level 4 for the F‑35 Sustainment team in the Spares program area.

In this role, you will remain closely involved in day-to-day contracts management work, performing functions across the full lifecycle of contract actions — from capture and proposal development through contract award and all phases of administration. You will provide business advice and guidance to, and coordinate closely with, cross-functional partners including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to manage a broad range of responsibilities spanning solicitations, capture, negotiations, and contract terms and obligations.

Alongside this hands-on work, you will lead a team, coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training; performance assessment and work assignments; and salary, recognition, and disciplinary actions.

As an authorized and empowered representative of the Company, you will serve as the primary interface with Customer buying representatives, building effective working relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. You will coordinate resolution of contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance, and ensure contractual compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.

You will lead and support internal and external audits as needed, verifying compliance and ensuring final contract documents accurately reflect agreements reached in negotiations. You may also help plan and deliver training on contract practices across the Company, and will collect contractual data and compile reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
