Claims Responsible 📍 Sibiu–Pitești Motorway Project – Lot 3


We are looking for a Claims Responsible to join our team on the Sibiu–Pitești Motorway Project – Lot 3. If you have experience in contract administration and claims management within construction projects, we look forward to receiving your application.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor contract activities and prepare contractual correspondence with the Employer, Engineer/Supervisor, Authorities and Subcontractors.
  • Review and analyze the Contract to identify the Contractor's rights, obligations and key contractual deadlines.
  • Monitor contractual deadlines related to notices, claims and correspondence, ensuring timely updates to the Senior Contract Manager.
  • Provide contractual support to the Technical Office regarding contractual conditions, obligations and deadlines.
  • Prepare, review and submit Contract Variation Proposals, contractual notices, interim and final claims, together with all supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and deadlines.
  • Identify events that may give rise to contractual claims, including Extension of Time (EOT) and additional payment entitlements, and initiate the claims process where required.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements contained in the tender and contract documents.
  • Coordinate with the Technical, Production, Planning, Procurement, Commercial and Legal Departments to collect and review supporting information.
  • Prepare responses to notices and claims received from the Employer, Engineer and subcontractors.
  • Support the analysis, negotiation and resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims, notices, correspondence and supporting documentation, and prepare periodic claims status reports.
  • Monitor contractual risks and ensure compliance with contractual provisions, Company procedures and applicable legislation. legislation.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or Law.
  • Experience in contract administration and/or claims management in construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract is a strong advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
