Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete material takeoffs and input data into company’s estimating software accurately and in a timely manner
- Produce all estimates accurately and on schedule to allow for thorough review and approval by the Estimating Manager and Client Relations Manager
- Provide value-engineering options to reduce costs without sacrificing quality
- Stay updated on new products, product supply, and pricing
- Communicate with the purchasing department to confirm accuracy in costs
- Support and participate in the development, implementation, and refinement of department processes and innovations
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in landscape and irrigation estimating, design, sales, or another related field
- Knowledge of landscape and/or irrigation design, materials, and installation methods
- Experience designing Irrigation systems is a plus
- Credentialed landscape and/or irrigation professional is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret Landscape Architectural plans and irrigation plans required
- Competency in Microsoft Office required
- Competency in Stack, AutoCAD and/or Land F/X
- Aspire software program experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Self-starter and self-disciplined
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Results and action oriented with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Able to take direction and suggestions and be a collaborative team player
