Licensing and Commissions Representative

Primary Responsibilities
- Provides licensing and commission support to external producers and agencies, as well as internal areas, such as Direct Sales, the Broker Service Centers, and other UHC affiliated carriers
- Ensures proper completion of contacting paperwork, meeting all compliance and processing requirements
- Acts as an internal liaison and customer service resource for external producers, relative to policy, premium, and commission questions
- Responsible for assigning the correct commission payment structure to producers
- Researches/troubleshoots and communicates information regarding commission payments
- Provides ongoing maintenance of producer information in the system, including processing additional state appointments, appointment renewal payments, demographic changes, producer of record changes on policies, processing debit balance payments, producer terminations, arrangement changes, agency mergers, and more
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in navigating a computer (creating, editing, saving, and sharing documents)
- Intermediate level of knowledge of web-based program and Internet/Chrome
- Intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- 2 years of experience in a professional environment
- Comfortable performing VLOOKUPS in excel
- All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
