You'll work closely with Commercial, Accounting, Measurement, Legal, Operations, and external customers while developing specialized expertise in energy contract administration.
This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Contract Administration Director.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Administer a portfolio of natural gas contracts covering high volumes of gas and significant business activity
- Draft contracts, amendments, notices, and other contractual correspondence.
- Maintain contract information within the Quorum Contract Management System.
- Prepare Accounting Briefs for new and amended agreements.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, notice requirements, and trigger events.
- Audit settlement statements to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Research and resolve contract-related issues through analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain contract files and supporting documentation.
- Prepare reports and provide contractual information to support business needs.
- Support due diligence efforts, special projects, Contract Administration initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
- Digging into details, solving complex problems, and building deep expertise in the complexities of contractual agreements.

Education And/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in contract administration or legal support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly.
- Ability to multi-task and work productively and independently with minimal supervision as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Flexibility, adaptability, and dependability in managing changing priorities
- Professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and workplace conduct.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
