- Preparing annual reports which may consist of statistical graphs and/or comparison reports.
- Compiling data to review maintenance needs.
- Utilizing the maintenance system to enter and/or update equipment and maintenance information.
- Resolving and/or recommending advice on the continuous updates on the facility equipment maintenance system.
- Developing specific project instructional guidance materials.
- Obtaining information from crew supervisors and work leaders that could affect future workload adjustments.
- This position supports the Dredge and MAY require occasional travel while the Dredge is working in other Districts.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

GS-06 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Utilized automated systems and/or 2) Review pertinent information to ensure equipment and materials are accurately tracked. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Utilizing automated systems and/or analyze system procedures; 2) Assisting with a variety of recurring maintenance, repair, and/or replacement and 3) Review various records for each job to include piece of equipment, man hour labor charges, appropriate codes, etc. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
GS-08 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Supporting a maintenance program by utilizing an automated maintenance management system, 2) Maintaining equipment records, update work orders, and/or track maintenance activities; and 3) Scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
GS-9 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting the following: 1) Utilizing multiple components of maintenance control systems; 2) Managing a variety of recurring maintenance, repair, and/or replacement activities on complex equipment; and 3) Providing guidance and support to maintenance personnel and management by troubleshooting maintenance system issues, evaluating system processes and/or recommendation improvements on maintenance activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
