The Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organization has an immediate opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Military Engines - General Finance.
This will be a hybrid position based at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
The team will be responsible for all analytical, financial, operational, and contracting activities required to progress from today’s pre‑Head of Agency (HOA) state through a negotiated Multi Year Procurement (MYP) agreement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Pricing and estimating (ROM and formal proposal).
- Volume and demand planning.
- Investment and capacity modeling.
- Supply chain integration and supplier flowdown.
- Contract T&Cs strategy and proposal development.
- Cross‑functional integration across Ops, SC, Finance, Programs, and Sustainment.
- Support for executive briefings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required with at least 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Working experience in Financial Modeling, Business Case Development, Forecasting, Sensitivity Analysis, Linear Modeling, Machine Learning.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to deliver accurate reporting to internal and external customers, including senior leadership.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels.
- Organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication.
This role is:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
