What You'll Be Doing
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Associate for Zimmermann, you will be responsible for providing financial support for the management of the P&L and Balance Sheet for the Middle East region.
Month End
Your responsibilities will include the below:
- Assist in the completion of month end close in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support in reviewing assigned monthly P&L’s providing commentary on key variances to budget / forecast.
- Check assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on key variances and forecasts.
- Liaise with and provide support to Chalhoub Group's Accountants, as required.
- Work with internal teams to gather and consolidate budget data and supporting information.
- Compile and format financial budgets in line with internal templates and reporting requirements.
- Communicate budget updates, assumptions and timelines to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Update budget trackers (ie, marketing, travel, retail miscellaneous) and circulate to relevant stakeholders.
- Support Finance Manager and General Manager in the preparation of board meetings by updating & compiling various templates and support in preparing board presentations.
- Support Finance Manager during the year end audit process, as required.
- Assist with the preparation of indirect tax calculations and returns across allocated geographies, including but not limited to GST, VAT, WHT & Sales Tax
- Support the Finance Manager as required.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar commercial finance role.
- You have a solid FP&A experience, including budgeting, reporting, tax calculations, invoice booking, and payment processing.
- You have advanced knowledge of MS office, particularly in Excel.
- You preferably have experience in SAP.
- You possess a high level of enthusiasm and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You are an effective communicator.
- You possess a hands-on proactive approach and the ability to work in a team environment.
