**Summary Statement**
The incumbent in this position will work under the direction of the
Deputy Chief of Administrative Services and be responsible for overall
leadership of the Central Business Office, to include developing and
administering the agencies annual operating and capital budgets of over
\$450 million, payroll operations for more than 2,600 full-time
employees, accounts payable and receivable operations, financial
analysis and forecasting, grants management, fleet management,
procurement and contracting.

- Manages the analysis, formulation, and integration of a
methods for program evaluation.
- Oversees development of multi-year plans/programs. Works with
financial plans and issues.Determines problem areas and recommends
solutions.
- Proposes legislation that will support the Department\'s strategic
- Coordinates, facilitates, and reports back to management the
committees.
- Provides planning, budgetary, and management expertise to Department
- Monitors day-to-day fiscal activities to ensure they meet
## Job Requirements
- JOB REQUIREMENTS for Assistant Director Financial Management\
- Applicants must have education, training and/or experience
- Three years\' experience in financial administration such as
alternatives, and costs; financial planning, revenue generation,
revenue forecasting, expenditure forecasting, cash flow management
and establishing internal control.
- Three years\' experience in interpreting and analyzing financial
- Six months experience in strategic planning such asplanning and
five years by determining key objectives, how to accomplish the key
objectives, what strategies should be used, what activities would
contribute to accomplishing the key objectives and developing
performance measures to gauge and report progress or success.
- Six months experience in operations management which includes
operations typically through subordinate supervisors.
