Job Description

To support the Technology Transfer Office within the Innovation, Partnering and Outreach (IPO) Directorate, NLR is seeking a Technology Partnership Agreement Analyst to provide analytical and agreement support to agreements specialists by coordinating documentation, tracking workflows, and applying policies and procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant execution of agreements.
As a member of the Technology Transfer Office, you will interface with NLR’s leading researchers and learn about a broad spectrum of energy research that NLR conducts with our partners.
To successfully accomplish their job duties, the Technology Partnership Agreement Analyst will:
- Support TPA Specialists in preparation, formatting, and approvals of agreements.
- Track agreements and support agreement specialists through the full lifecycle using internal systems ensuring timely progression.
- Review and edit content for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established requirements.
- Coordinate with agreements specialists and internal stakeholders to collect missing information and resolve issues.
- Maintain and organize agreement records, files, and documentation repositories.
- Enter and update data in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on pending actions to keep agreements moving forward.
- Support the maintenance of standard templates, reports, and status updates for the team.
- Identify and flag process issues, risks, or inconsistencies to agreements specialists.
- Provide general operational support to agreements specialists as needed.
- Special projects- process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational and task management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities, with exceptional follow-through.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and quality control, ensuring accuracy in documentation, data entry, and tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information and identify inconsistencies, gaps, or risks in agreements or supporting materials.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to review and edit written content and to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and support team-based workflows.
- Demonstrated responsiveness and customer service orientation, supporting agreements specialists and internal partners in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data management and use of tracking systems or databases.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established processes while adapting to evolving guidance or requirements.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date.

- Expertise with various office software and applications.

- Experience with federal contracting, and application of federal acquisition requirements
- Knowledge of contracting and financial systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, NQuIRE, EPP.
- General knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to federal contracting.
Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
Job Profile: Professional I / Annual Salary Range: $57,900 - $95,500
NLR takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
