Project Financial Assistant

- Acting responsible for all financial reporting within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and contract requirement
- Developing monthly and quarterly reports such as Task Order Status Reports, Staffing Plan Report, Personnel Listing Report and other contractual deliverables
- Developing, maintaining, and advising the Project Manager on the execution of a spend plan to include details down to the CLIN/SLIN/ACRN/Ship Platform levels
- Participating in monthly spend plan and schedule meetings with the Project Manager and government customers to identify potential funding/ceiling/manning gaps
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of the project Task-books and WBS documentation as needed
- Assisting the Project Manager with the development and execution of the project travel schedule
- Supporting routine internal project subcontract and procurement activities such a Task Order modifications, Performance Work Statements (PWS), invoicing, and material acquisitions as needed
- Coordinating and facilitating program meetings, reviews, and working groups as needed
- Assisting the Project Manager with new hire on-boarding and orientation activities
- Assisting the customer in the purchasing of material requisitions; tracking requisition deliveries, and creating material receiving logs upon delivery
- Assisting with the development and delivery of the Weekly Status Report
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or combination of education and five years of project financial management and administrative experience is required
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
- Active Secret clearance
- Previous experience working within the DoD contractor support industry preferred
- Some experience the use of Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to build and maintain org charts and flow diagrams
- Ability to use Microsoft Project to perform routine tracking of IMS details
- No travel required
