Working closely with Senior Commercial Managers, Project Managers, Finance, Legal, Project Controls, and Delivery teams, you will provide critical commercial and contractual support, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Managing contract administration activities including progress claims, payment certificates, variations, claims, contractual notices, and contract close-out.
- Supporting commercial reporting, forecasting, cost analysis, and project commercial governance.
- Administering key contractual registers including variations, claims, correspondence, early warning notices, actions, and issues.
- Coordinating contractual correspondence and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, procedures, and timeframes.
- Supporting the assessment of contractual claims, variations, provisional sums, and commercial risks.
- Working closely with project delivery teams, contractors, finance, legal, engineering, and procurement stakeholders.
- Contributing to commercial process improvement initiatives and project governance requirements.
To Be Successful, You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience in a Contracts Administration, Commercial, or
- Contract Management role within a major infrastructure, construction, engineering, or rail environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, contract law principles, commercial governance, and Security of Payment legislation.
- Experience administering variations, claims, contractual notices, commercial reporting, and contractor performance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing contractual correspondence and commercial documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
