About The Position
We’re looking for a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment while prioritizing relationship building and customer service. As our Estimating Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process from start to finish, setting deadlines, and producing accurate bid packages. This role is critical to our Estimating team and is a chance for you to learn about electrical, security, access control, networking systems, and more. Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules of deliverables for the team and assist with managing timelines, deadlines, and estimating packages.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to build relationships, define the project scope, address any deficiencies, negotiate prices, and facilitate registration process of products.
- Research quotes for material and labor from our suppliers and subcontractors.
- Continuously follow up on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awards.
- Partner with Power Design’s construction project management team to properly transfer awarded projects.
- College graduates with 1–3 years of related coordination or administrative work experience.
- Individuals who love to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and evolving.
- Someone with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and basic fundamental skills in database management, Bluebeam or other PDF-editing software, and construction plan reading/interpretation.
- Strong communication skills and professional behavior, including the ability to create and conduct presentations and training sessions.
- Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
