NET Recruit is pleased to be partnering with an established and highly creative independent agency in their search for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer to join their team in Bournemouth. With more than six decades of creative experience, the organisation has continued to evolve alongside the industry, developing its capabilities across print, digital, integrated, and experiential campaigns.
Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, from ambitious challenger brands through to global organisations, the business is known for combining strong creative thinking with high-quality execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a creatively driven Motion Graphics Designer to join a collaborative studio environment and contribute to innovative campaigns and visual content across a wide range of channels.
The position is studio/office based in Bournemouth, five days per week, and offers the opportunity to work closely with designers, motion specialists, client services, and wider creative teams.

Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Creating high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for a diverse range of clients and campaigns.
• Supporting the wider creative team with campaign assets and standalone video and animation projects.
• Working alongside designers to take creative concepts from initial ideas through to final production.
• Contributing to cinematography, animation, editing, and visual development across a variety of projects.
• Supporting pre-production activities, including shoot planning, organisation, and preparation.
• Participating in filming projects both within the studio and on location across the UK.
• Developing storyboards, concepts, narratives, and visual approaches for motion and video projects.
• Creating motion content for a range of channels, including social media, out-of-home advertising, events, and digital platforms.
• Collaborating with motion designers, graphic designers, client services, and other agency teams to deliver projects to a consistently high standard.
• Experimenting with new techniques, technologies, visual styles, and creative trends to ensure the agency's motion offering remains innovative.
• Exploring emerging AI tools and incorporating appropriate AI-generated assets and techniques into creative workflows.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced agency environment.
• Ensuring all final motion and video assets meet the required creative, technical, and production standards.
• Contributing ideas and creative solutions throughout the development and production process.

What You Will Need to Apply:
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have four or more years' experience in motion design, preferably gained within a creative agency or similar fast-paced environment. You will need to provide a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging, creative, and technically polished motion work.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator is essential, together with experience using relevant plugins and tools. Knowledge of 3D software would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
You will have a strong creative eye and the ability to develop ideas from an initial concept through to storyboards, animation, filming, editing, and final delivery. Experience creating motion assets across multiple channels, including social media, out-of-home placements, events, and digital platforms, would be particularly beneficial.
You should be highly organised and able to manage your time effectively while working across multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with the wider creative studio and client services teams.
A genuine curiosity about new technology and emerging creative tools is also important. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about exploring AI within motion design and video production, with practical experience of incorporating AI-generated assets or AI-assisted techniques into creative workflows being highly desirable.
Most importantly, you will be creatively driven, proactive, and passionate about producing exceptional visual work. You will enjoy experimenting with new ideas and techniques while maintaining the attention to detail required to deliver polished, client-ready work.

In return for your skills and experience, the company is offering a salary of up to £38,000, depending on experience, alongside the opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking creative agency in Bournemouth.

The role provides exposure to a broad range of clients, industries, creative formats, and campaign types, giving you the opportunity to continue developing your motion design and production skills.
