Could you be the full-time Junior Project Contract Manager (JPrCM) in Serbia, Belgrade we’re looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your contract and claims management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in guiding and driving proactive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies, helping us achieve Alstom’s business objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Project Engineers, Sourcing Contract Managers), support the development of contract strategies, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring proper record-keeping and preparing robust claim files, but also contribute to the development and implementation of commercial procedures.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring the application of the Contract, Claims, and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance
- Contributing to the preparation and regular updates of the Contract Summary
- Developing and implementing the Contract Management Strategy Plan (CMSP) with the core project team
- Monitoring project schedules and ensuring timely issuance of contractual notices
- Supporting the establishment of project-specific commercial procedures
- Preparing and managing documentation for claims and counterclaims negotiations
- Collaborating with teams to identify and mitigate risks while maximizing claim opportunities
- A degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics, or Business Sciences
- Experience or understanding of contract/claim management or project management (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting contractual documents, including terms and conditions
- Familiarity with preparing routine reports and correspondence
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in English (mandatory)
