Domestic Content Adder Compliance Auditor

Location: Remote position but may need to Travel: 15%
A Domestic Content Adder Compliance Auditor is an expert or third-party professional responsible for verifying that renewable energy projects meet strict U.S. manufacturing requirements. This verification is necessary to secure an additional 10% tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Key Responsibilities
- Diligently review, organize, and validate all documents pertaining to DCA requirements (e.g., contractor submissions, project exhibits, compliance attestations, supporting records).
- Perform detailed completeness and accuracy checks (signatures, dates, entity names, required attachments, math/totals, and consistency across source documents).
- Document findings, discrepancies, and missing items; issue clear deficiency notices and corrective action requests with required due dates and supporting detail.
- Present periodic status updates to management (open items, risk areas, aging, and trends) and recommend remediation steps to maintain DCA compliance.
- Enter and reconcile DCA document review outcomes in designated systems (e.g., trackers, dashboards, LPC Tracker if applicable); apply quality controls to ensure data integrity and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, audit support, document control, contract administration, or similar work requiring detailed review and validation of supporting documentation.
- Working knowledge of procurement and supply chain documentation (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, bills of materials, manufacturer certifications, and origin/traceability records).
- Proficiency with Excel and document management tools (e.g.,
- SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive) and comfort maintaining trackers, version control, and dashboards.
