Key Responsibilities:
- Creates/monitors/maintains monthly financial reports for all PI’s that have research funding as well as reports for leadership in the Division.
- Ensures that the award setup accurately reflects the terms and conditions of the award as well as anticipated spending; requests appropriate rebudgeting from OGC and/or sponsor when required.
- Prepares documentation for OGC to draft subcontracts; monitors contract execution, account set-up, invoicing, and compliance.
- Reviews all expenditures to ensure that division researchers adhere to institutional policies and procedures, as well as to all applicable federal, state, and sponsor rules and regulations.
- Completes Journal Entries and Payroll Expense transfers as needed on grant accounts.
- Works with Pre-Award Coordinator or Pre-Award Shared Services to process progress reports, including working with Principal Investigators to prepare and submit progress reports (RPPRs) as required by project sponsors.
- Provide post-award services for Clinical Trials.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Entry Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, research, communications, marketing, business administration, business, or other closely related field.
- One (1) year of professional-level experience in sponsored project administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, research, communications, marketing, business administration, business, or other closely related field.
- Two (2) years of professional-level experience in sponsored project administration.
- A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Three (3) years of grant experience at an institution of higher learning.
- Experience with University of Colorado finance systems (i.e., InfoEd, m-Fin, Concur, Marketplace).
- Clinical, laboratory, or research experience.
- Contracts and finance experience.
- Program and/or project management experience.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
- Entry Level: $50,160 – $67,215
- Intermediate Level: $54,586 – $73,145
- Senior Level: $59,012 – $79,076
