Work you'll do
As a Specialist, Government Client Contracts Management on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively provides support to the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, prime contractor NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts consistent with company policies.
- Ensures contract data is entered into appropriate forms and databases and checks the accuracy and completeness of electronic documents and contract systems data.
- Reviews federal solicitations, requests for information, and proposals; identifies business risks; documents findings; and provides recommendations.
- Understands key terms and conditions of assigned contracts that affect performance or compliance and conveys information to stakeholders.
- Prepares standard contract language for inclusion in proposals.
- Receives and interprets federal customer post-submission clarifications and/or deficiencies; coordinates proposal updates; remits revised proposal offers to the Contracting Officer.
- Develops relationships with external client stakeholders and attends industry and government events.
- Collaborates across GPS teams to provide solutions and insights related to contracts portfolio.
- Reviews for compliance with federal contract regulations and reporting requirements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- The prime contracts professional understands the Deloitte market offering/ client solution that our external client needs; and,
- The prime contracts professional navigates the often highly regulated acquisition landscape to help GPS leaders place their solution onto an awarded contract that enables Deloitte to improve the public outcome.
- 4+ years of professional working experience
- 2+ years of experience in multiple contract types (e.g. FFP, LH, T&M, CPFF) and solicitation types (e.g. FAR Parts 8, 15, and 16)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Experience supporting the Federal client aligned with the team of assignment (Federal Health, specifically CMS, HHS, FDA, NIH, etc.)
- Emerging ability to excel in upper-level management environment
- NCMA: CFCM or CCCM
