Location: Dublin or Northern Ireland
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days working from home, 2 days in the office and 1 day on site.
Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of construction projects while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model and strong career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost plans, estimates and project budgets.
- Manage tendering, procurement and subcontractor packages.
- Monitor project costs, valuations and financial reporting.
- Administer contracts and ensure commercial compliance.
- Manage variations and negotiate costs with clients and contractors.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry software such as CostX or Bluebeam.
- Full driving licence is desirable.
