Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dublin or Northern Ireland

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days working from home, 2 days in the office and 1 day on site.

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of construction projects while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model and strong career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, estimates and project budgets.
• Manage tendering, procurement and subcontractor packages.
• Monitor project costs, valuations and financial reporting.
• Administer contracts and ensure commercial compliance.
• Manage variations and negotiate costs with clients and contractors.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry software such as CostX or Bluebeam.
• Full driving licence is desirable.
