Hays has partnered with one of the country’s leading retail REIT’s, who are seeking an experienced Lease Administration Analyst to join its New York team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in lease administration and tenant resolutions, to make an immediate impact within a high-performing team.


Your new role

As the Lease Administration Analyst, you will play a critical role in the management and accuracy of lease documentation across a large retail portfolio. Collaborating closely with tenants and internal teams, you will serve as a subject-matter expert for lease interpretation, reviewing agreements/amendments, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Duties will include preparing tenant billings for CAM, insurance, utilities, and real estate taxes, conducting detailed reviews of expenses to identify variances, and resolving tenant disputes. You will maintain supporting documentation, ensure billing accuracy, and oversee key reconciliation activities.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5 years of lease administration experience for commercial portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong understanding of lease terminology, legal language, CAM reconciliations, and financial lease provisions.
  • Experience with real estate software, including MRI, Yardi required.
