Position Summary
The Contract Analyst – Procurement is responsible for supporting strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract lifecycle management across clinical, non-clinical, capital, and purchased service categories. This role partners with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Legal, and facility leadership to negotiate commercial terms, manage supplier agreements, analyze spend, and identify opportunities to reduce costs, standardize vendors, and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations within a healthcare environment.
Essential Functions
- Manage the lifecycle of supplier agreements, including drafting, negotiation support, execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives, competitive bids (RFPs/RFQs), supplier evaluations, and vendor selection.
- Analyze spend, utilization, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify savings and standardization opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, rebates, service levels, and performance metrics.
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership to execute category management strategies across clinical supplies, purchased services, capital equipment, pharmaceuticals, IT, and indirect spend.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and business reviews.
- Validate contract pricing and ensure purchasing activity aligns with negotiated agreements.
- Research market trends and benchmark supplier pricing to support sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with Legal to resolve contract language while maintaining favorable business terms.
- Develop financial analyses, total cost of ownership models, and executive summaries supporting sourcing recommendations.
- Maintain contract records, expiration tracking, and procurement documentation.
- Support acquisitions, new facility openings, and enterprise purchasing initiatives.
- Identify process improvements that strengthen procurement governance and contract compliance.
- Participate and contribute during team meetings and contribute to special projects as we develop the industry-leading Purchased Services solution for healthcare.
- Maintain a weekly status report for assigned portfolio of work.
- Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

Preferred Qualifications
- Procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contract management experience.
- Healthcare, hospital, ASC, or GPO experience strongly preferred.
- Experience negotiating supplier agreements and commercial terms.
- Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.
- May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Requires significant use of computer, phone and general office equipment.
- Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.
- May require off-site travel.
