As a Senior Associate in the M&A team, the candidate will be involved in the full transaction lifecycle, including:
- Preparation of marketing materials (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations) and participation in deal pitches
- Development of financial models with minimum supervision for valuation of equity for M&A and capital-raising transactions
- Conducting industry, company and product-specific research across sectors
- Performing preliminary investment analysis on cross-industry opportunities
- Assisting with end-to-end deal execution, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with clients when required and maintaining ongoing client relationships
- Developing relationships with PwC global network teams
- Supervising and coaching junior colleagues
- University degree in business field with (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of 4.0
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, valuation, or investment banking
- Demonstrated track record of involvement in executed M&A or capital markets transactions
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills across sectors
- CFA / ACCA candidacy or membership is an advantage
- Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint; experience with transaction databases is a plus
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Russian
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-structuring, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Strong corporate finance fundamentals with the ability to apply valuation and financial analysis outputs in deal discussions and decision-making
- Ability to solve complex problems under time pressure, including in unfamiliar or new subject areas
- Ability to take ownership of workstreams, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate junior team members
- High level of personal responsibility, commitment, and accountability for output quality
- Well-developed organizational skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable execution style
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, including overtime when required
- High ethical standards, integrity, and professional conduct
