Provider Contract Consultant

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a highly detailed Provider Contract Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead the Provider contracting, negotiation and execution process. Act as key strategic contact for Providers, external contracting entities and internal departments, mitigating implementation delays and resolving Provider contracting issues.
What You'll Do:
- Educates Trinity Health Michigan Medical Group Provider on provider contracting and compensation models.
- Develops Provider contract and facilitates contractual negotiations.
- Partners with legal counsel to ensure accurate preparation of contractual documents
- Develops and negotiates Provider recruitment offers.
- Oversees provider contractual agreements
General Requirements:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or other related field preferred.
- CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Documentation of education or training in provider contracts. CHC or CMSR certification preferred.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of professional contracting. Experience in a complex healthcare environment. Five years’ professional experience, including knowledge of healthcare compliance, provider contract the compensations management experience preferred. Knowledge of FVM standards, Stark Law, Anti-kickback Statute, Commercial Reasonableness and Reasonable Compensation rules and Fair Market Value regulations for providers, preferred.
