The Project Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and project controls across multiple concurrent projects, and owning procurement execution and vendor management under the Project Manager and in close coordination with other stakeholders. The role suits a highly organized, hands-on operator who thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day operations across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring pace, quality, and delivery.
- Own and maintain project controls: integrated plans, milestone trackers, risk and issue registers, budgets, and reporting.
- Lead procurement execution end-to-end: requirements, RFPs and RFQs, quotation review, commercial comparison, and vendor onboarding.
- Manage consultants and vendors against scope, timeline, budget, and quality, resolving issues as they arise.
- Prepare accurate, decision-ready status reports and materials for the Project Manager and senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate across internal teams, partners, and vendors to keep workstreams aligned.
- Support governance and quality assurance, escalating risks and decisions in a timely manner.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Around 4 to 6 years of experience in project delivery, PMO, consulting, or procurement.
- Experience supporting or running complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Hands-on experience owning project controls (plans, trackers, budgets, registers).
- Demonstrated procurement or vendor-management experience (RFP/RFQ, evaluation, onboarding).
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; master's degree not required but a plus.
- Prior Abu Dhabi or regional experience is an advantage.
