As an Associate Commercial Manager, you will support the commercial and contract management activities associated with data centre development projects for a Data Center client in Singapore. Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective contract administration, commercial compliance, and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• champion the purchase order management process and assist the development team to ensure costs are allocated correctly with purchase orders approved in a highly efficient manner;
• responsibility for tracking and communication of purchase order approvals to ensure the process is facilitated efficiently and effectively;
• raising and generating purchase orders to support team where required;
• assisting in contract lifecycle activities including contract drafting, approvals, delivery and close-out;
• preparing and assessing payment claims for direct supply contracts and consultancy agreement;
• monitoring cashflow performance ensuring high accuracy achieving key performance indicators and updating cashflow projection across in-flight projects;
• coordinating payments between Development and Finance teams to ensure vendor payment in accordance with contract payment terms;
• coordinating contract kick-off meeting and administration via project management tool including vendor/contract setup, securities, insurances;
• maintaining reporting tools for measurement of key contract metrics.
• having a high attention to detail and collaboration within the team;
• assist with innovations and initiatives for digital transformation.

• A relevant degree such as Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering (or similar).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction industry and contract management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and proactively to problem-solve and bring matters to a close.
• Authentic and genuine personality who can build strong relationships with diverse personalities around the world.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to online collaboration tools.
