Responsibilities
- Completes the interior build-out of storm shelters and other industrial buildings in accordance with industry standards.
- Cross-trains in various construction skill sets and performs work across multiple stages of the construction process.
- Examines products and completed work to verify conformance to specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
- Compiles, pulls, and delivers materials for production, field installation, and outbound shipments, ensuring materials are properly packaged to prevent damage.
- Receives and inspects incoming materials to verify shipments, match purchase orders and packing lists.
- Maintains accurate inventory records through cycle counts, completes inventory adjustments, investigates discrepancies, and ensures materials are charged to the appropriate work orders or jobs.
- Maintains organized packing list files and other inventory documentation to support quality inspections and recordkeeping.
- Performs accurate and timely recordkeeping to support inventory control, material tracking, and production operations.
- Completes shop technician responsibilities in support of shop floor production as inventory workload permits.
- 6+ months of inventory control experience including cycle counting.
- ?6+ months of construction-related experience.
- ?Experience and ability to use a computerized inventory system (such as Sage JobOps).
- ?Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.
- ?Ability to read a tape measure and practice basic arithmetic.
- ?Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- ?Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- ?Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- ?Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- ?Ability to perform basic math calculations.?
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate [Medical Card].
- ?Experience with Sage JobOps.
- ?5+ years of experience in construction, including skills in either carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.?

- The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
- Must have full use of both hands and arms to perform tasks requiring coordination, strength, and fine motor skills. This includes handling tools or equipment, lifting or carrying materials, operating machinery, and performing repetitive or precise movements with both hands simultaneously.
