Job Description/Responsibilities
As a Shipping Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly by coordinating daily shipping activities and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. You'll work closely with logistics partners, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to manage shipping schedules, resolve issues, and support efficient operations. This is a fast-paced role for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and collaborating across teams.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules with Corporate Logistics, warehouse teams, and carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
- Manage the carrier check-in process, assign loading and staging activities, and monitor workflow to meet shipping priorities.
- Process shipping documentation, including ship confirmations, bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, and shipping reports within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track shipping discrepancies, code freight invoices, and support continuous improvement through accurate reporting and issue resolution.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse/industry work experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in the alcohol beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Experience using manufacturing or warehouse systems such as ERP, MRP, MPS, or WMS.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work on-site and operate industrial equipment as required.
The hourly rate for this role is $ 19.55-$29.33 .
