Job Description- Be courteous and maintain a good working relationship with supervisors, team leaders, and co-workers.
- Be self-directed to perform job duties as required and inform area leaders when assistance is needed.
- Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow all production safety and quality standards.
- Must be able to do data entry as needed and be proficient in the use of Company computer/software programs.
- Verify inventory accuracy printed versus actual.
- Utilizing and monitoring inventory systems to meet accuracy requirements.
- Stays current on the status of inventory of materials and parts needed to complete the production schedule.
- Responsible for scrap and excess material usage, reporting, and action taken to match accuracy of systems inventory records.
- Post and record inventory movement and usage factor making recommendations to modify the Bill of Material and usage rate.
- Liaison with purchasing and corporate master scheduling on schedule changes and authorization to produce product.
- Perform, and report on cycle counts in the area of responsibility assigned; adjust the inventory records as required after corrective action has been initiated.
- Support month end physical inventory as required. Print inventory reports.
- Be cross functional and multitask orientated within inventory and purchasing area to fill in as a backup to other functions, including but not limited to label printing, and custom window batching of incoming orders.
- Abide by all FBIN policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand work instructions, production standards and Company communications.
- Ability to work overtime to as needed to meet business needs.
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
- Ability to measure, read, and interpret a tape measure.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $41,620 USD - $50,336 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
