Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking pallets. This position may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned.
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Team Leader and Senior Warehouse Operatives and overseeing a small team of staff, including Warehouse & Agency staff
- Making sure that all Checkers and Temporary staff arrive and leave in a punctual manner and that correct break times are adhered to
- Supervising the loading and unloading of vehicles making sure all procedures are followed, all loads are safe, and no damaged stock or faulty pallets are loaded out.
- Planning workload to a high level ensuring all necessary work is completed before the following shift arrives.
- Ensuring all necessary bay checks are completed within the timeframes and that the admin team leader receives them once completed to highlight any possible missed pallets.
- Storing all inbound stock into racking locations ensuring locations are logged correctly to make it easier to find the stock when required.
- Produce necessary labels and paperwork and recording any inbound discrepancies.
- Ensuring maximum efficiency within the warehouse
- Comply with procedures and Health & Safety requirements ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and that FLT/Reach truck drivers are using the equipment in the manner in which they have been trained and all MHE checks are completed.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess the ability to motivate others to ensure targets are met
- Able to provide excellent customer service
- Warehouse experience – Preferred
- Leadership Experience
