- Export Documentation Management
- Prepare, review, and manage export shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (B/L),
(SLI), and other export-related documentation.
- Verify document accuracy and ensure compliance with export regulations, customer
- Coordinate document submission to carriers, customers, customs brokers, and overseas offices.
- Export Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies,
- Arrange bookings with carriers and monitor vessel/flight schedules.
- Track shipment status from cargo receipt through final departure and destination arrival.
- Support export customs clearance by preparing and submitting required export documentation.
- Customer & Partner Communication
- Communicate with customers, overseas partners, and service providers regarding shipment
- Provide timely updates on cargo movements, booking status, vessel schedules, and delivery milestones.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve day-to-day operational matters.
- Data & Operations Management
- Maintain accurate shipment records and export operational data in internal systems
- Prepare operational reports and ensure proper filing of export documentation.
- Monitor KPIs related to export operations and service quality.
- Support continuous improvement of export operational processes and customer service performance
Qualifications
- Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in import operations, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Core Competencies
- Experience handling export shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L), Commercial
- Basic understanding of export customs clearance procedures and international trade
- Familiarity with ocean freight, air freight, and international shipping processes.
- Experience coordinating with customers, carriers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration,
- Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Incoterms, international trade, export compliance, and global supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or freight forwarding platforms is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams.
- Business English proficiency for email communication, documentation, and conference calls.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in logistics, international trade, customs, or freight forwarding are a plus.
