Global Supply Chain Specialist
Noah's Farm | Hybrid, South Korea or San Francisco, USA | Full-time
Who are we?
We use AI to discover and design flavor molecules that have never existed before. Our platform dreams them up, our lab makes them real, and our partners put them into products people actually eat and drink. It might be the most fun problem in food.
But here's the thing about inventing new flavors: the molecules, botanicals, reagents, and equipment behind them all have to come from somewhere. Sometimes that somewhere is a chemical supplier in New Jersey. Sometimes it's a vanilla grower eleven time zones away.
We need the person who can get anything, from anywhere, to the right bench at the right time. That's you!
What you'll own
You'll be our first dedicated supply chain hire, which means you don't inherit a system.
You build it.
The role covers three worlds: Feeding the platform!
Our AI is only as good as what we can validate in the real world. You'll source rare botanicals, reference compounds, and specialty ingredients from suppliers across the globe, including some that most people have never heard of. Keeping the lab alive. Reagents, consumables, equipment, vendors. When a scientist reaches for something, it's there. No stockouts, no blocked experiments, no drama.
Scaling what we discover. When one of our flavors lands with a CPG brand or flavor house partner, someone has to figure out how it goes from grams in our lab to tons in their production line. You'll design those supply routes and make our discoveries commercially real.
What that looks like day to day
- Hunting down hard-to-find ingredients and negotiating with suppliers on multiple continents
- Building real relationships with growers, distributors, and specialty chemical suppliers
- Running procurement, inventory, and logistics for a fast-moving R&D lab
- Handling imports, customs, and compliance paperwork without breaking a sweat
- Designing scale-up supply plans alongside our commercial and formulation teams
- Sitting close to the founders and weighing in on make, buy, or partner decisions
- Building the systems, tools, and processes for all of the above, because right now they don't exist
- Global Supplier and Partnership Management
- Participate Strategy Meeting
Whom we're looking for
Here's where we break from the usual script: we don't have a years-of-experience requirement. We've seen people with three years who could run this and people with fifteen who couldn't. We'll shape the title, scope, and level around the right person.
What actually matters:
- You're resourceful to an almost suspicious degree. Finding impossible things is your idea of fun.
- You're organized enough to run tight systems and scrappy enough to build them from nothing.
- You communicate clearly with everyone from PhD chemists to freight brokers.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity. Early-stage means the map gets drawn as we walk.
- Bonus points: experience in food, flavor, ingredient, or specialty chemical supply chains, customs and import know-how, or a second language you can negotiate in.
Why this is a great gig
You'd be getting in at the ground floor of a new category. Noah's Farm isn't a flavor house and isn't just an AI company. Or any ordinary Tech Company. We're building the infrastructure layer for how flavors get discovered, validated, and commercialized. The supply chain you build becomes part of that stack, and your fingerprints end up on flavors sitting on real shelves.
Also, the job is just fun. If you thrive on challenge and love intellectual open discussions, you will find your place here at our Farm.
Some weeks it's chemicals and ingredients.
Other weeks it's freight quotes and lab freezers.
Every week it's different.
The details
- Location: hybrid, based in South Korea or San Francisco, with minimal possible travel to suppliers and partners
