We’re hiring licensed Stockroom Technician to help drive our continued success!
Purpose of the role:
MHIRJ’s network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The Stockroom Technician will receive and inspect incoming and outgoing materials; order and distribute materials. Maintain inventory of purchased and manufactured parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment.
Here are the daily responsibilities of a Stockroom Technician:
- Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures and perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
- Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage
- Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules.
- Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
- Assist in loading / unloading shipments.
- Transport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facility.
- Provide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts.
- Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and / or rental equipment to authorized personnel.
- Typically, 6 months - 2 years’ experience in one of the following:
- Warehouse
- Shipping / Receiving
- Tool Crib
- Valid Driver’s License
- Customer service experience mentality
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of SAP or similar system
- Our Service Centers are world-class, and our technicians work in climate-controlled hangars that are clean, comfortable, and promote safety.
- Position requires full-time presence at our Bridgeport, WV facility with on-site collaboration essential to role success
- 12-hour shifts on 3/4/4/3 schedule, which include days, nights, and weekends.
