ROKA is looking for a detail-oriented Fulfillment Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing outbound orders for shipment, ensuring products are packaged, labeled, and dispatched correctly and on time.


Responsibilities:


  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards
  • Verify order accuracy against packing slips before shipment
  • Apply correct shipping labels and documentation for each carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.)
  • Inspect products for damage or defects prior to shipping
  • Perform occasional quality inspections as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping station
  • Meet daily shipping quotas and deadlines
  • Communicate issues, delays, or discrepancies to the Shipping Lead promptly
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed
  • Perform other tasks as necessary, including receiving, cycle counts, returns processing, and other day-to-day warehouse responsibilities
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures


Must Haves:


  • Prior shipping or warehouse experience
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive-task environment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures quickly
  • Experience working with eyewear a plus
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.


Working Environment:


  • Work is performed primarily in an optical laboratory setting
  • Environment often fast-paced and deadline oriented
  • May work alone in lab as necessary or with partner
  • Exposure to dusts, fumes, glass and/or plastic lens particulates, standard chemicals found in optical lab (some of which may be caustic), metal alloy (solid and melted), moderately high levels of noise, fluorescent lighting, cleaning agents and electrical energy
  • Will be working primarily with small manual tools (screwdriver, pliers, etc.), lenses, frames, and automated laboratory equipment
  • This environment requires:
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day per scheduled shift)
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to approximately 45 lbs.
  • Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Must possess excellent finger and manual dexterity, control precision, steady hands/arms
  • This role is onsite at ROKA Headquarters; Monday - Friday
