Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage international air freight shipments from origin to destination
- Prepare and process export/import documentation including airway bills, commercial invoices, and customs entries
- Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, and carriers to ensure timely movement of cargo
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, or compliance issues
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs compliance, and TSA security requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering accurate shipment updates and solutions
- Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of inbound and outbound freight
- Prior experience in international air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics operations
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs compliance procedures
- Familiarity with freight management systems and carrier portals
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with global partners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- IATA or Customs Broker license a plus
Compensation: $41,600.00 - $57,000.00 per year
