Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prioritize/distribute pick tickets
- Communicate with Production/Inspection on orders needed and partial orders
- Update Customer Service on delays as needed
- Process Shipments – Creating Packing Lists, Certs, and BOL’s as needed
- Manage Inbound/Outbound scheduling requests
- May also help with picking/packing duties a needed which are the following:
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment using various methods
- Use of shipment orders, invoices, etc. to determine the counts, weights, or other measures to ensure accuracy in outgoing shipments
- Determine proper labeling requirements and affix shipping and packaging labels on packages.
- Record shipment data in necessary logging systems
- Print material certs as required
- Pull parts from shelves and combines quantities if needed to complete quantity
- Assemble and wrap skids as needed to protect parts during shipment
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Detects and reports questionable conditions to supervisors
- Submit CPARS to Quality as they arise to uphold our commitment to continuous improvement
- Perform cycle counts and bin audits, recording and making corrections as needed

- Accurately record labor and data in MES system
- Follow all JBC policies and procedures
- Willing to train in WHS/Receiving to provide additional assistance.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing/shipping
- Ability to interpret pick lists and enter information into company database
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Basic computer skills including MRP systems
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in units of measure; use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Experience in using FedEx, UPS, DHL online software; LTL BOL
- Able to follow directions
- Able to use hand tools
- Must be capable of being Tow Motor Certified
- None
- Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for an entire shift
- Employees subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- Protective equipment not required but available for nuisance dust
- Normal Schedule – 1st Shift - Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime as needed to ensure shipment of goods.
- Work performed in a plant/production environment
- Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
- Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision
