The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Logistics & Custom Coordinator to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.
As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.

What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end movement of goods for domestic and international shipments to stores, partners and DBL exit sales, including booking in new stock received from manufacturers and coordinating system stock transfers.
- Oversee order processing and fulfilment coordination (including booking DHL collections), ensuring accurate recording and tracking of orders in internal systems and timely updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and support stock picking activities to minimise discrepancies and ensure audit readiness.
- Prepare and process all shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, customs declarations and import/export entry paperwork) to meet legal, regulatory and courier requirements.
- Reconcile upcoming Home Use releases monthly and process duty and VAT payments, and handle other customs diversions as directed.
- Support administration of Duty Deferment, Inward Processing Relief and other VAT suspension schemes, ensuring correct recording and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve delivery issues, delays or discrepancies, and process refunds/exchanges (Apex) to maintain service levels and supplier/carrier relationships.
What You Bring
- Minimum of two years' experience in logistics, supply chain, operations or a related function.
- Previous experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding or equivalent shipping operations.
- Strong working knowledge of UK customs procedures and cross border trade with European markets.
- Familiarity with customs entries, the CDS system, Incoterms and standard import/export documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail with experience conducting internal compliance audits.
