Job Responsibilities
1. Oversee the company's market positioning, business system development, and expansion in Europe; formulate annual operational targets and market/business strategies for the European region; and assume responsibility for overall revenue, profitability, and collections performance.
2. Conduct market research and brand business operations in the European shipping, offshore engineering, and heavy-lift transportation sectors; maintain relationships with key clients at the executive level; establish overseas client and partnership channels; and identify growth opportunities for European business.
3. Oversee the establishment of the European market business sales team, including performance management and talent pipeline development, while refining business operational processes, quotation and pricing mechanisms, partnership evaluation procedures, and commercial management policies.
4. Monitor and analyze shipping cycle trends, industry policies, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to generate market insights, optimize freight rate strategies and commercial business models, and enhance market share and profitability.
5. Lead business coordination, negotiations, and risk management for key strategic clients and major engineering projects, while coordinating internal resources to ensure the successful implementation and closure of critical initiatives.
Job Requirements
1. A European professional with over 10 years of experience in business development and sales within the shipping, offshore engineering, and heavy-lift logistics industries, complemented by more than 5 years of mid-to-senior level team management experience.
2. Possesses practical experience in business development for the European market, with a solid foundation of high-quality upstream and downstream resources, including cargo owners, engineering and heavy industry clients, overseas general contractors, and channel partners.
3. In-depth expertise in heavy-lift vessel, semi-submersible transportation, and breakbulk/project cargo operations. Strong knowledge of international commercial practices and demonstrated capability in commercial assessment, deal structuring, and leading complex negotiations for large-scale engineering projects.
4. Possesses market-oriented business acumen, is goal-driven, excels in building commercial systems and managing teams comprehensively, and can withstand the high-intensity operational pressures of the shipping industry.
