What You'll Do

• Oversee daily yard operations, including staging, loading, and unloading materials
• Maintain an organized yard layout to support efficient traffic flow and storage
• Operate equipment (forklifts, loaders, cranes, etc.) and ensure safe, proper use by the team
• Coordinate with dispatch and production to support timely delivery of products
• Track inventory and report any discrepancies or material shortages
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy
• Monitor yard equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes) to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper PPE and equipment use
• Maintain accurate documentation of yard activities, shipments, and inventory movements

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience in yard, warehouse, or material handling roles; supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and safe yard operations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for tracking materials and maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
