About The Role
Location: Suez Recycling & Recovery Ellington Road Wood Pad, Newmoor Road, Ashington, Northumberland, NE63 9XS
- Salary £13.38 per hour
- Working 45 hours per week
- Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
- Mobile plant experience desirable, please note you are required to work in a dusty environment
- PPE will be provided

- Maintaining accurate records for the removal of material from the site and of all activities on the site.
- Controlling the exchange of containers, by booking loads with the relevant person thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
- Ensuring that within his/her areas of responsibility, SUEZ R & R complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions
- Co-operating with SUEZ R & R and with other employees in order to comply with site permit, all applicable legislation and SUEZ R & R Policies and Procedures
- Undertaking first aider duties and fire warden duties on site
- Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role
The Role Will Require
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
- Mobile plant experience desirable
- Please note you are required to work in a dusty environment suitable PPE will be provide for this environment
- The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation and maintenance of site equipment.
- Comply everywhere and in all circumstances with the laws and regulations connected with their activities.
