Location: Billingham
Department: Production
Reports to: Lead Operator
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, three-shift rotation (6am-2pm – early , 8am – 4pm –
days & 2pm – 10pm evening)
Salary: £27,500 – £32,916 (depending on experience) + Shift allowance (£4,500)

The Hartlepool site operates within a regulated manufacturing environment, producing
and distributing specialist ingredients to customers across the UK and internationally.

Role Overview
Warehousing & Compounding Duties
- Receipt of incoming goods following company protocols on the
- Loading and unloading of Hauliers vehicles/containers for incoming and
- Blending cold compounds
- Preparing goods for despatch to a global market by various shipping
- Transfer of goods to the correct stores location;
- Booking and labeling of packaging materials;
- Packing down of finished product into relevant containers in line with
- Sampling of raw materials/traded products where necessary
- Administration – booking of raw materials onto the computer system
- Weekly stock check of raw materials
- Ensuring the production facilities are kept clear of unused raw materials and
Production Duties
- To ensure that the production plan is followed whilst on shift, modifying it if
- To be accountable for the full and comprehensive recording of process
- To monitor processing for non-conformances and to report such to the Plant
- To ensure the efficient processing of products in relation to raw materials, labour,
- Where required, to be involved in the documentation, development, and scale
- To ensure that the designated plant is maintained in a safe and operational
- To ensure the safe and complete handover of the designated areas to the
The Person
- NVQ L2 or 3 in PPO or equivalent is desirable, as is experience of
- Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance) is essential
- Experience of working in a batch production environment
- Excellent team working skills coupled with ability to work on own initiative
- ‘Can-do’ attitude and flexible approach to work coupled with strong continuous
